The Gibbons Literary Salon is a session designed specifically for booklovers who crave frank and stimulating discussion about books, and want to learn how to create open and honest conversations in their book clubs. Cozy up with a drink and appetizer in the casual setting of the Mountain Club, as guest author Shelley A. Leedahl leads this workshop on how to be an astute book club reader. Discussion will revolve around how to formulate provocative questions, spur collaborative discourse and encourage diverse opinions about the books you’re reading. Admission: $20

Café Shaika, 5526 Rue Sherbrooke W. will be hosting two evenings of prose and poetry with award-winning and notable writers from NDG and beyond. Cora Siré will be featured with her latest poetry book, Signs of Subversive Innocents on the second day of the event - Saturday, August 29th at 5:30 pm.

Signed copies of her book will be available for purchase.

Michael Pacey will be will be the first reader at the Book Launch Readings Friday morning, starting at 10:00AM. Other authors reading at this event include Janet Fraser, Roger Moore and Elizabeth Copeland.  He will also be reading during the Open Mic Event which takes place Sunday, May 24th morning from 10:00AM until 12 noon at the Old Triangle Irish Pub, 751 Main Street, Moncton. This event will feature other writers attending WordSpring 2015.
