Rachel Muller is hosting a home literary salon for Shelley A. Leedahl, who will be giving a short reading from her new collection of personal essays, I Wasn't Always Like This, before turning the floor over to the night's attendees.

Denise Roig will be launching Brilliant, her new collection of short stories. Kelly Watt will join her on the bill.

Shelley Leedahl will be reading from her newly released essay collection, I Wasn't Always Like This, along with Michael Kenyon, who will be launching a new book of poetry and a new collection of short stories. Admission is $3 at the door.

Cora Siré will be reading from Signs of Subversive Innocents, along with fellow authors Mark Abley,  Kelly Norah Drukker , H. Nigel Thomas, erika white, Sheryl Halpern, and Milton Dawes on Djembe. Doors open at 7:00, readings begin at 7:30. Admission is $6 at the door.

Michael Mirolla, whose The House on 14th Avenue has won the 2014 Bressani Award for Poetry, will be reading along with his fellow winners in fiction and non-fiction, Darlene Madott, Eufemia Fantetti, and David Macfarlane. To complement the readings, Windup Bird's acclaimed chef will offer a three-course prix fixe menu.

This evening will pay tribute to Nik Beat, who suddenly passed away on September 18. At 7:30 pm, O Puck will begin the evening with a water blessing. At 7:45, Sean Ratcliffe will open the readings, followed by poets Jeannine Pitas, Dane Swan, Sheila Stewart, Niki Koulouris, Jennifer Hosein, Robert Priest, Brenda Clews, Luciano Iacobelli, Anna Yin (with Mark Harry), David Day, Bänoo Zan, and Max Layton.
