FRYE festival

Prelude and Frye Jam

Frye Festival Facebook Livestream (https://www.facebook.com/FryeMoncton)

Book cover

The Frye Festival is proud to partner with Festival Acadie Rock to present Prelude and Frye Jam, a multilingual literary event. This literary show brings together two signature events that we were unable to present as part of our virtual programming in April 2020.

The first part of the show will consist of Prelude.

This public reading features six new voices from New Brunswick.

After Prelude, Frye Jam will follow!

With its multidisciplinary format, Frye Jam features eight New Brunswick poets sharing their works on stage with the rhythmic sounds of Les Païens (les Païens are reuniting for this special occasion) and images by Carole Deveau as a backdrop.

Prelude and Frye Jam will be hosted by Kayla Geitzler and Jean-Philippe Raîche, also the City of Moncton’s Poets Laureate, who will close off the show with a reading of their closing poem, their second creation for the 2019-2020 edition of the Frye Festival.
