Have you ever wondered where an author gets his or her inspiration? Where do their wild ideas, stories and characters come from? Over a glass (or two) of wine enjoy the decadence of a delectable dessert and listen in as local authors dish about what inspires them. Come discover new authors and their books . At the end of the evening, enter your name in a draw to win the entire set of books of the authors featured at this event. Featured author books will also be on sale courtesy of our very own, Armchair Books. Authors will have pen in hand to sign books. Come meet some of Whistler’s very own talented authors, indulge in our chefs’ sweet offerings and get ahead of your Christmas shopping list. The event will feature local authors: Sue Oakey-Baker, Sara Leach, Stephen Vogler, Paula Shackleton, Stella Harvey and this year's writer in residence, Ania Szado. With special guest author long-listed Giller prize nominee, Michael Winter.
