Meet Me in the Middle

Catherine Hunter, author of the poetry collection Latent Heat, will be participating in the Meet Me in the Middle event, which brings together 10 poets from 10 publishers across the country. Each poet will take the microphone for 10 minutes, reading work which addresses a human rights issue. Other poets participating include Jonathan Ball, Katherine Bitney, Lori Cayer, Meira Cook, Marilyn Dumont, Clarise Foster, Kerry Ryan, Gary Thomas Morse, and Karen Press. The opening ceremony will be led by Connie Merasty from Two-Spirited People of Manitoba. Hosts will be Thin Air director Charlene Diehl and Tightrope publisher Jim Nason.
